A woman has shared her 'Costco routine' and admits she only goes to the giant store for a very sneaky reason that has nothing to do with its prices or food.

If you're fortunate enough to have a Costco card, you might often snag deals from the store. Whether it's a new television, an air fryer, a birthday cake for a friend, or just your weekly shop, the retail giant has got your back.

However, one woman confessed she doesn't visit the discount store for any of these items – instead, she enjoys going for something that's available for free.

TikTok user @bantercards invited viewers to "come to Costco in the UK" with her, confessing she only frequents the shop for "the water and the samples."

First, she sampled some crisps, served on cupcake wrappers. "What I love about the samples is that you have to pretend you're interested in what they're selling when really you just want the samples," she quipped.

The second sample was noodles, which she said were "disgusting" and opted not to buy.

The third sample she tried was pancakes, remarking: "My sister pretending that she has no idea what pancakes taste like."

Next were brownies to sample, which she declared were "amazing" and she did end up purchasing them. The lady from the stall "disappeared" so they seized the opportunity to take more while she was away.

Sample five was Perinaise, priced at two bottles for £5. Then they scored 40 bottles of water for £3.50, jesting that "this is the only reason we come," before savouring their sixth cheese sample and concluding the trip with some complimentary coffee.

"Then the best bit the food at the end", she exclaimed, praising its affordability with "so cheap."

She went on to recommend, "If you can get a Costco membership I'd highly recommend it, just for the cheap food and the samples to be honest because it's a lovely day out."
