A group of medical students tested just what damage smoking really does to your lungs - and it makes for grim viewing.
From turning black and being coated in tar, your habit could be hitting more just your pocket, but damaging your organs with as little as 20 cigarettes.
In a video, which was shared on the MEDinspiration Facebook page, a team of medical students experimented to see the impact of smoking on a healthy pair of lungs.

Attaching a funnel to the organs, they tested the impact of a pack of Marlboro menthol cigarettes.
They then cut open the windpipe to see what impact it really had - and the results were incredible.
Comparing to a healthy sample, they discovered that the cigarettes had already turned the inside of the lung brown.
The team wrote on Facebook: “Following administration of the 20 cigarettes, we can clearly analyze that tar build up in the trachea and discolouration of the lung has already set in!”
