Are YOU fooled by illusions? Take this quiz to find out the TRUTH
Illusion images incept images inside images. What did you see first?
THE definition of an 'illusion' is a distortion of the senses - looking at one usually reveals how the brain normally organises and interprets sensory stimulation.
But which way do you fall? From a trick of the eye to a trick of the camera - illusions come in all shapes and sizes.
Earlier this year, an Argentinian lingerie brand used a brilliant illusion to draw more attention to their brand. Jane Pain started a campaign called #booborelbow.
The optical illusion snaps they released as part of the campaign, at first glance, looks like a standard lingerie shoot.
With bottoms in thongs and breasts in frilly bras, one would be forgiven for thinking the campaign was a plain and simple shoot.
But on closer inspection not everything is what it seems.
What might seem like a peachy bottom in a blue thong isn't quite what it seems - it is, in fact, a young lady's back and arm with a sliver of material wedged between.
And the next image - rather than a pair of breasts - is an elbow and some hot-shot camera trickery.
