If you struggle to get the motivation to clean, which let’s be honest, we all do from time to time, then one woman has got the perfect solution.

We all want our bathrooms to be sparkling clean and look as good as new, but sometimes it can be tough to achieve that with everything else you’ve got going on in your life.

@positivami shared that the way she gets herself into the zone is by putting her headphones on.

But she’s not listening to music and getting distracted by lyrics, or viral TikTok dances.

Instead, she’s popping on some of her favourite episodes of shows she loves, so she knows what’s coming up – and it motivates her to make her rooms sparkle.

Ami said her bathroom was “absolutely filthy” and there was mould around the windowsill and the bath.

She confessed that as a kid she hated cleaning, but as an adult she finds it quite satisfying, even though it takes her a while to get motivated.

“Don’t get me wrong, I will put it off for days and weeks at a time, but when I do get round to doing it, I have such a good time”, she joked.

Then she mentioned her headphone hack, saying it keeps her brain “occupied”, but she’s not wondering “what’s going on there?” because she’s seen it before.

In the comments, others praised the headphone hack, saying it also helped them to keep on task.

One woman wrote: “I’m glad I’m not the only one that watches repeats when I’m doing housework or going to bed. It gives me background noise. Which helps me no end.”

Ami replied: “Definitely not on your own! It’s so comforting.”

Someone penned: “When I was a kid I honestly hated cleaning, now I'm 18 living in my own apartment and cleaning is helping with stress and anxiety.”

Another shared: “Me always playing friends in my earphones, I think I’ve watched it 600 times while cleaning”.

Others praised her bathroom, saying they liked it “a lot”.
