Savvy shoppers have found a 'beautiful' bedding set that not only elevates their bedroom interiors but is so comfortable that users say it feels like you're sleeping in a 'five-star hotel'. Even better, the bedding will set you back less than the likes of Marks and Spencer as it is on sale from £40 to £32 for a double.

Dunelm's Mandalay White Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set is also available in single, kingsize and super kingsize. Described as having a 'designer look without the price tag', it has been praised for its non-iron feature meaning it can go straight from being washed and dried to back on the bed.

The bedding, which makes bedrooms look 'very posh', will easily slot into any existing wall colours or soft furnishings as the white colourway goes with everything. If you're worried that light colours might show up marks, reviews have stated that it 'looks like new after washing'.

The single set features one duvet cover and one pillowcase, while the double, kingsize and super kingsize sets all feature two pillowcases. Dunelm shoppers have been keen to leave glowing reviews on the website, in fact there are over 1,500.

Perfect for all seasons, one person said: "Absolutely love this set, feels very luxurious, and makes me happy to go to bed!"

Another customer said it was their 'top bedding buy ever', going on to write: "I adore this bedding set, so much so that I am buying this as a second set so I never need to be without it! It is without doubt the best bedding purchase I have ever made - soft, warm and has a traditional look about it that suggests cosy country cottages."

A third explained: "Absolutely love this duvet set. Excellent value and looks far more expensive than it was and looks perfect on my bed.

"Washes beautifully and needs no ironing. Very happy customer."

However, some Dunelm shoppers were dissapointed saying that it is a 'shame it’s not 100% cotton'. For a bedding set that is made from all cotton, consider the John Lewis Pure Cotton Double Duvet Cover. It's £25 for the duvet and an extra £8 for a set of pillowcases.

Amazon stock a number of bedding sets including this £27.99 option that is made from 100% Egyptian cotton. Shoppers say it is, 'extremely soft and comforting to a high spec of hotel quality', striking the 'right balance between affordability and comfort'.
