Baking soda is a highly versatile cleaning solution which can be used around your home.
One way it can be used is to clean your grill.
To use baking soda as a cleaning material on your barbecue, simply drip a damp brush into your baking soda.
Next, scrub the BBQ grate until it has been cleaned.
Ideally, you should use a sponge with a scourer on it to scrub it clean until all the baking soda has disappeared.

For more stubborn marks on your grill, you can let the grates soak overnight in a baking soda solution.
Simply combine two cups of vinegar and one cup of baking soda in a bin bag or other secure container.
Place the BBQ grates in this bag and then seal it tight.
Allow the grates to sit in the mixture overnight.
Remove the grates and then rinse the grates off with cool water.
Wipe away any remaining debris and food items from the racks.
Pat the racks dry and then place them back on your barbecue grill.
