But the method will still require more effort compared to clothes or other surfaces.
To clean coffee stains from their carpet, people will need:

- White vinegar
- Clean paper towels or cloths
- Soap, detergent, stain remover, or a combination of these items
- Lemon juice or baking soda

The coffee experts recommend people start running water through a fresh stain.
While most people may feel compelled to scrub it, doing this could damage the material.
Successful application of this method should flush the coffee out in one to two minutes.
Dried on coffee stains can take a little longer to solve.
For dried carpet stains, people should mix the washing up liquid and vinegar.
Mix in two cups of water and pour the solution onto the stained area.
The mixture should sit for five minutes before cleaners flush it out with water.
If the stain remains, people can repeat the process for maximum effect.
