LIDL and Aldi have become two staples over the festive period to stock up on Christmas goodies but will the bargain supermarkets be open on Boxing Day?

Christmas is over for another year, the crackers have been pulled, revellers are stuffed to the brim with turkey and mince pies and families are exhausted from the endless rounds of charades. But what happens if you need to stock on some stuffing or you missed something off the shopping list for the Boxing Day buffet? Unfortunately Lidl and Aldi are closed on Boxing Day, but they do open as normal the following day on December 27.
What time do Lidl and Aldi open on Boxing Day?
Lidl and Aldi are both closed on Boxing Day (December 26).
In England and Wales, all stores will be closed on Boxing day, although the discount supermarket did say most stores within the M25 are open 10am-6pm.
Aldi will also be shut on Boxing Day and both supermarkets are closed on Christmas Day.
