Peugeot put trust in the box seat
WE DON’T often cover vans here on the motoring page but we’re happy to make an exception for a very worthy cause.
TOURING: Reading Festival is on the list of locations
The reason is that the Marcus Rutherford Foundation and Young Adult Cancer Trust has just taken delivery of a new Peugeot Boxer, donated by the French firm, which will be touring various schools, locations and events such as the Reading Festival (August 28-30) throughout this summer.
During this time the van will be serving as a mobile cancer awareness information point and will help to highlight earlier diagnosis of those in their late teens and early 20s.
As well as acting as a registration centre for blood, bone marrow or organ donors, the van is equipped to NHS standards and capable of carrying out everything from annual health checks to blood testing.
A superb and worthy cause. Find out more information at marcusrutherfordfoundation.com.
