Rugged Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally to go on sale in Europe in 2024
The Ford Mustang Mach E Rally, first shown off at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023, will go on sale in Europe and America in 2024.
Ford has announced that a special Rally version of their Mustang Mach-E will go on sale in America and Europe.
The company unveiled the unique model at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023, with a demonstration from the former World Rally Champion Ott Tänak.
Darren Palmer, Vice President of Ford's Electric Vehicle Programs described the appeal of the new Mach-E Rally.
He explained: "Mustang Mach-E took the freedom and fun of Mustang and made it free from emissions.
"Now with Mustang Mach-E Rally, we're providing our customers the freedom to venture off the asphalt and beyond the beaten path."
Launched in 1964, the original version of the Ford Mustang gained a reputation for offering performance and power for a low price, creating a new class of vehicles called 'pony cars'.
Whilst a seventh generation version of the Mustang has been announced, their latest model is the Mach-E, which went on sale in December 2020.
Upon launch, the Ford Mustang Mach-E caused a stir, as it was the first ever Mustang to be fully electric and an SUV.

Compared to the standard version of the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the Rally features a set of striking white wheels with special off-road tyres for improved grip on all surfaces.
Around the front of the car, the dummy grille has been replaced with a matte black panel which matches the side skirts and wheel arches.
The model also features raised suspension to cope with more uneven terrain and a hefty spoiler to complete its rugged appearance.
Whilst Ford have yet to reveal performance figures for the Mustang Mach-E Rally, the current GT version is capable of reaching 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 124mph.
Some are predicting the Rally will have slightly more power than the GT, but still offer four wheel drive for extra grip off-road.
Also unclear is the price of the Mustang Mach-E Rally, however Ford have announced that it will be available to order in early 2024.
