In 2012, she was awarded the O2 Media Award for Young Journalist of the Year (Yorkshire and Humber). She was a judge at the Manchester Food and Drink Festival Awards from 2016 to 2020 and has hosted events including an evening in conversation with celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, as well as participating in Action Against Hunger's Too Many Critics charity cook-off.
