The show, which has opened at London’s Old Vic Theatre to swathes of positive reviews, takes place in Dylan’s birthplace of Duluth Minnesota, and is set in the 1930s.
At a time of extreme poverty, it focuses on a couple who run a guesthouse and those who live and stay with them; including their son and adopted daughter.
Atim, in the latter role, is seen delivering a beautiful performance of Tight Connection To My Heart in a new video released by theatre bosses.

Atim has been widely praised
Atim stars alongside Shirley Henderson (Happy Valley) and Ciaran Hinds (Justice League), while Conor McPherson has written and directed.
Dylan himself was reportedly offered the chance to have creative involvement, but instead gave McPherson his blessing and declined.
“I think that’s probably quite wise, because I have total freedom with it,” the director said.
“Probably having Bob in the room wouldn’t feel that sweet! I’d be trying to second guess what he likes. Whereas this way he has given us his trust, and off we go.”

Bob Dylan finally breaks Nobel Prize silence
In a four-star verdict, the Express’s Neil Norman said: “Once past its slightly ragged opening the production builds in confidence and complexity and a real drama emerges.
“With echoes of John Steinbeck reverberating throughout, McPherson pulls most of his elements together through the narrator Dr Walker (Ron Cook) although a few loose ends remain.
“Dylan purists will probably disapprove but who cares? For all its rough edges, I loved it.”
Girl From The North Country plays to October 7 at the Old Vic Theatre.
