Dolly Parton dazzles in yellow as she picks up Lifetime Achievement Award
COUNTRY music icon Dolly Parton may be 70 but she still looked stunning in a tight-fitting yellow dress as she picked up a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The singer – who has won eight Grammy Awards – said it was an “absolute high” to get her latest gong at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville, Tennessee.
Country singers including Reba McEntire, Jennifer Nettles, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride and Kacey Musgraves performed some of Dolly’s hits including 9 to 5, Jolene and Yellow Roses at the event on Wednesday night.

Tennessee-born Dolly’s other awards include 10 Country Music Association Awards, seven Academy of Country Music Awards and three American Music Awards.
She is one of only seven female artists to win CMA’s Entertainer of the Year Award since 1967.

Actress Sharon Stone, 58, also appeared at the CMA Awards.
Joined by her sister, the Basic Instinct star wore a glamorous black gown with a low-neckline as she dazzled on the red carpet.
The CMA was celebrating its golden anniversary after its first show was held in 1967. It was broadcast on national television a year later.
