Steam Summer Sale 2026 start time, dates and early discounts not to be missed
Fans can already save big on the likes of Horizon Forbidden West, Starfield and the Batman Arkham franchise.

With the Steam Machine prices announced and GTA 6 pre-orders about to go live, gaming fans could do with a nice big sale in order to save some money. Fortunately, that's exactly what is about to happen, as Valve gets ready to hold one of its legendary annual sales, this time to celebrate the start of summer.
The 2026 Steam Summer Sale runs for two weeks beginning on June 25, giving players plenty of time to save cash on a selection of the biggest hits and smaller indie gems. Some discounts have even gone live early, which you can read about below.
Steam Summer Sale 2026 start time and dates
This year's Steam Summer Sale has a June 25 release date and a 6pm BST UK start time. That's 10am PT / 1pm ET for fans living in the US, and 7pm CET for European customers.
Unlike some of the smaller sales and events, the Steam Summer Sale runs for two weeks, ending at the same time on July 9.
It's the final major sale until the Steam Autumn Sale in October, so you'll definitely want to take advantage if you intend to make a dent in your Wishlist.
Likewise, if you're planning on buying a Steam Machine, now would be a good time to add some games to your library.
Expect a trailer with a selection of featured discounts to make its debut shortly. Daily Express will update this article once the video goes live.
