How to get the Skeleton Crew in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
Players can find a cosmetic item in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced that turns their shipmates into a Skeleton Crew. Here's where to find it.

Did you know that you can get a cosmetic item in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced that turns your ship’s crew into a Skeleton Crew – literally?
It’s hidden away, not marked on the map, and requires a fair bit of grinding before you’ll able to get it. However, given how cool this Skeleton Crew cosmetic is, you’ll definitely want to try and get it early on.
Here’s exactly where you can find the Skeleton Crew item in Assassin's Creed Black Flag, and the fastest way to grind the materials you need to get it.
Where to find Skeleton Crew item in Black Flag Resynced
The Skeleton Crew item can be purchased from a merchant on an unmarked island in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Head to the coordinates (549, 638) and look for a small hut with a wooden jetty pointing away from it. It has a bunch of torches, so it’s very easy to spot at night.

Interact with the merchant and scroll down to the bottom of his available items. There, you’ll see the Skeleton Crew cosmetic available to purchase, but it comes at a pretty high cost.
You’ll need to spend 206 bones to get the item, which even if you’ve already been hunting animals like your life depends on it, you’re unlikely to have the full amount right away.
So, here’s the quickest way to grind those materials.
How to grind bones fast in Black Flag Resynced

You could spend your time hunting down animals on the many explorable islands in Black Flag Resynced, but it will take you a helluva long time to reach the 206 needed for the Skeleton Crew.
Instead, I suggest investing in the Treasure Dealer at Great Inagua, which will allow you to purchase bones directly for 1,000 Reales.
To unlock the Treasure Dealer, you’ll need to upgrade both the Taveran and the General Store at Great Inagua first. These first upgrades cost between 100 and 500 Reales, so you shouldn’t have an issue with the initial startup costs. They’re found around the dock of Great Inagua.
Once those upgrades are done, head back towards the very front of the dock and turn left while facing the Jackdaw. The Treasure Dealer will appear, asking for a small investment to get his store started.
After giving him a bit of cash, you’ll be able to interact with him again and purchase bones for Reale.

From this point, it’s just a matter of grinding up the 206,000 Reale required to buy 206 bones. This might take you a while, but the best course of action is to head to the southern seas and hunt down Man-O-War ships.
Man-O-War’s can hold up to 2,000 Reale, so they’re worth taking down if you’ve upgraded the Jackdaw enough to go head-to-head with them.
Other ways to make money fast include sending ships out on missions from Kenway’s Fleet. Also look out for warehouses to loot when visiting new cities, as well as both naval and assassin’s contracts to complete as these often come with a hefty reward too.
Lastly, it’s worth reading any treasure maps you find in bottles throughout your journey. These buried rewards can often provide thousands of Reale, and can massively help you on your way to getting the Skeleton Crew cosmetic upgrade.
