After a year to remember with some incredible videogames released in 2025, this Christmas could be an all-timer for gamers. The likes of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2, Hollow Knight: Silksong and Donkey Kong Bananza all came out to huge acclaim this year.

And now, thanks to some huge discounts on major titles across all consoles, the remaining days before 2026 could help gamers see the year out in style. If you've opened up all your Christmas gifts and found a gift card or two under the tree, you are spoiled for choice on what to spend it on. But don't fear - we've scoured the sales across each console for the best picks to part with your cash.

There are massive deals on the PlayStation store, Xbox store and the Nintendo eShop.

Sony's platforms are offering up to 75% off via the digital store until January 21, while the Xbox store's annual Countdown Sale has 80% off three big-name titles.

The Nintendo Holiday Sale, which ends on New Year's eve, has discounts as much as 90% off - meaning there are some irresistible offers and plenty of games costing less than £10.

Among the big hitters on sale are the likes of Call of Duty Black Ops 7, EA Sports FC 26, Battlefield 6 and 2025's Game of the Year, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
