EA FC 26 World Cup mode release time, launch date, countries and free reward
EA Sports FC 26 adds the World's Game tournament mode featuring dozens of fully-licensed countries.

EA FC 26 fans are counting down to the release of the unofficial World Cup mode, which is dubbed the World's Game. While the World's Game update launched last week, the actual World Cup-inspired game mode isn't actually available to play until later this week.
Available for PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Mobile, the World Cup mode has a June 4 release date and a 6pm BST UK release time. If you haven't already, then it's worth noting that you'll need to download the most recent update, which added the new content for the international tournament mode in EA FC 26.
The World Cup mode features 53 fully-licensed international teams, including 41 of the teams participating in the actual World Cup this summer.
Needless to say, this includes tournament favourites like France, Brazil, Argentina and Spain, as well as newcomers like Cabo Verde and Uzbekistan.
England also get the official treatment, alongside home nations like Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The full list can be seen below.
"Lead your nation to glory, rewrite history to create new international storylines, and experience new true-to-life stadiums including Gillette Stadium and BMO Field, alongside Central Maw - a new stadium built to capture the atmosphere of top-tier international football," reads the official description.
"The standalone 48-team tournament takes you through three group stage matches, with the top two teams progressing alongside the eight best third-placed teams across all groups.
"From there, knockout rounds begin with the round of 32 before culminating in the tournament final."
Anybody who plays EA FC 26 between June 5 and July 24 will receive the 93 OVR Festival of Football ICON Pele and three Choose Your Journey Evolutions.
History isn't made. It's played.
