Oscar winner Brie Larson is the new Captain Marvel
The 1990s set solo movie has officially wrapped its shoot and Larson appears to be happy she can go home.
Captain Marvel herself took to Instagram and shared a picture of the film’s clapperboard, signed by cast and crew.
While underneath is a June and July calendar with days crossed off up to the 6th, which is marked as “Last Day.”
Below which is a drawing of a rocket ship with a picture of Larson inside, being followed by a cat in a flying saucer who must be Chewie, Carol Danvers’ cat.
The news follows Captain Marvel director Ryan Fleck revealing the film had wrapped two days ago.
His Instagram on Friday confirmed that July 6th was the 75th of 75 days of filming.
“We got next…” he captioned it.
Having been teased in the Avengers Infinity War end credits sequence, Marvel fans are keen to find out how she will be of help in Avengers 4.
With her film set in the 1990s, perhaps there will be some clues during her interactions with a younger two-eyed Nick Fury.
Captain Marvel is release in UK cinemas on March 8, 2019.
