IT Chapter 2 is casting for adult members of the Losers Club, but which one did the late Harry Anderson play in Tim Curry’s original Pennywise miniseries?

The 65-year-old died yesterday morning of natural causes, according to his son, Dashiell.
Anderson was best for playing Judge Harry Stone in NBC’s sitcom Night Court, but he’s also fondly remembered for portraying one of the Losers Club adults in the original IT miniseries.
Just like Stephen King’s novel, the first half of the 1990 horror saw Curry’s Pennywise the Dancing Clown terrorise a group of kids, before being defeated by them.
But then a time jump of three decades sees the Losers Club all grown up, only to be recalled back to Derry, Maine where once again IT has returned.

Harry Anderson played adult Richie Tozier after Seth Green's younger version in the IT miniseries
Anderson played Richie Tozier, taking over the role from future Austin Powers star Seth Green, who played the younger version of the character.
The class clown of the group, Richie has become a late night television comedian – something Anderson was in real life, having a stint on Saturday Night Live.
However the official Facebook page for Pennywise: The Story of It has confirmed Anderson didn’t want to be interviewed.
A comment read: “Unfortunately no, Harry declined an interview but was extremely gracious and polite about the project.”
Meanwhile last year’s IT movie saw Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard play the younger version of Richie and just last week news of his adult counterpart for the sequel looks set to be confirmed.
Saturday Night Live star Bill Hader, a fan favourite for the role, is in talks to play adult Richie.
Also in consideration is James McAvoy for the role of Bill Denbrough, the Losers’ Club leader.

Bill Skarsgard will also return as Pennywise the Dancing Clown alongside director Andy Muschietti and screenwriter Gary Doberman.
The horror sequel is due to start shooting this summer in Toronto, with the child Loser Club cast returning for flashback sequences.
It: Chapter Two will be released in UK cinemas on September 6, 2019.
