Harding is the subject of new movie I, Tonya; which finally lands in UK cinemas next week.
It’s also a strong awards contender; with Allison Janney the frontrunner for Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars and BAFTAs.
Harding was embroiled in controversy when, in 1994, her main competitor Nancy Kerrigan was attacked after a practise session by an attacker enlisted by Harding’s ex-husband and her self-appointed bodyguard.
She has consistently denied any involvement in the planning of the attack, but debate has endlessly raged.

Nanette Burstein directed documentary The Price of Gold in 2014, and said - according to The Mirror: “It’s clear she’s not being forthright when she said that she didn’t know about the attack.
“She’s very angry and bitter and sees herself as a victim in all this.
“I think she was an unreliable interview subject. A lot of things she said had to be left out because I didn’t think they were truthful.
"She’s very mistrusting of everybody.”
The events of 1994 are still being discussed today
