Avengers Infinity War news: Popular character’s return RULED OUT - ‘She doesn’t fit’
AVENGERS INFINITY WAR will assemble a huge number of familiar faces from past MCU movies - but one person in particular won’t be seen.
Guess who's out of the new Avengers movie?
Emily Vancamp, who played Sharon Carter in the Captain America solo films, has confirmed previous speculation that she won’t appear.
Though some had been hopeful for at least a fleeting cameo, it seems they’ll be left disappointed.
“It’s hard to fit Sharon into [Infinity War], she’s really in Cap’s world, you know what I mean?,” the star told AOL’s Build series.
“I can’t say anything about anything but I can say that!”

She added: “She sort of fits into the Captain America movies, that’s where her story lies.
“But I can tell you it’s going to be an epic two-parter, from everything I hear and know.
“And the Russo brothers are phenomenal, they can do no wrong. I’m excited to see it.”
Last summer VanCamp had hinted that she was not in the cast for the ensemble romp.

“With Marvel, they can give you a call the day before you shoot,” she reasoned.
“You don’t know what’s going on with their movies because they’re very secretive.”
Avengers: Infinity War is out on April 27, 2018 in the UK.
