Star Wars 8: FOUR new EW covers reveal Luke and Leia REUNITED, Rey's FALL?
STAR WARS 8 has unveiled four stunning new Entertainment Weekly images featuring Rey, Kylo Ren, Luke, Leia, Finn, Poe, Rose and Holdo, plus director Rian Johnson discusses his plans for the trilogy.
Star Wars 8 Entertainment Weekly covers
Fan excitement will be whetted by these four beautiful and tantalising covers for this week's Entertainment Weekly.
Each cover features one pair of main characters with a teasing headline that sets up a major confrontation or character arc.
The most provocative feature Luke and Leia and asks whether they will reunite. Another reinforces the fear that Rey will fall to the Dark Side.
Finn and Rose share the third cover with Poe and Holdo on the final one.
Entertainment Weekly says: "There are always two sides to every conflict, light and dark, good and evil. Which one is which depends on where you stand. But sometimes those sides intersect, one can cross over into the other and it’s easy to lose sight of where you want to be."
Most importantly, one cover offers hope that maybe the Skywalker twins will have one last moment together.
The magazine adds: "There is still a chance these two could find each other again, which is especially poignant given that this will be the late Carrie Fisher’s final appearance in a Star Wars film."

The magazine also features a chat with director Rian Johnson.
He says: “There’s a history in Star Wars of the attraction between the light and the dark, whether it’s the story of Anakin basically turning from this sweet kid and seeing his seduction to the dark side, or even with Luke."

“Even though you never really believe he’s going to go over to the dark side, the whole revelation of ‘I am your father’ has to do with Vader and this darkness that [Luke] thought he could just dismiss as ‘That’s the bad guy. I don’t have any of him in me.'
"Suddenly he realizes ‘No, I come from him. I have quite a bit of him inside me.’”
