Avengers 4 Iron Man and Hulk plot twist?
Fans are still frantically scrambling around trying to figure out what will happen in Avengers 3, Infinity War.
New photographs from the set of the sequel, the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4, have thrown up a new set of questions.
The pictures show Downey Jr and Mark Ruffalo filming scenes that appear to confirm one of the biggest theories about the superhero blockbuster.
It's not so much what they are doing as what they are wearing that gives the biggest clues.

The picture of Tony Stark in S.W.A.T. gear has started a fan frenzy since it appears his uniform also bears an important logo.
Eagle-eyed commentators are convinced that they can spy the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo on the shoulder.
This ties in with popular theories that Avengers 4 will feature a major flashback or, even more mind-bending, a complete alternate timeline.

This is compounded by the shots of Mark Ruffalo in motion-capture gear.
It looks likely that this is the replaying of a classic moment when Tony Stark had to step in to calm down a rogue and raging Hulk.
The second outfit sported by Tony Stark is equally important as it also features an item that was previously and memorably worn in an earlier film.

One excited fan said: "Tony wore that outfit (Black Sabbath shirt) in the first Avengers film and now he’s gonna wear it in the last Avengers film. I'm crying."
The alternate timeline theory may be connected to Doctor Strange using the Eye of Agamoto, which we now know is the Time Stone.
Alternately, these new pictures may simply be part of a poignant flashback.
Since Tony Stark is expected to bow out in Avengers 4, it would be an emotional and fitting way to pay hommage to his history in the franchise.
