Hurricane Irma VIDEO: Heartwarming moment Frozen star Kristen Bell sings for scared kids
FROZEN star Kristen Bell sang songs from the iconic Disney movie for terrified Hurricane Irma evacuees over the weekend.
Kristen Bell, who voiced Anna in Frozen, sings at an Irma shelter
The actress, 37, turned real-life heroine as she performed at a school after being stranded nearby at the Walt Disney Resort hotel in Florida.
Instead of keeping her head down, she headed out to see those who had been made to flee their homes, and helped to distract them from the horrors of the storm.
She sang tracks from the film such as For The First Time In Forever and Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?

The star tweeted a photo of herself with two high-spirited dancers, captioning it: “When ur #singinginahurricane, ur volunteer back up dancers can(& will) steal the show. Richard&Rebecca everyone!! #HurrcaneIrma #Irma2017”.
That wasn’t all she did: her co-star Josh Gad - who voiced Olaf - took to Twitter to say she had rescued his parents.
“No joke. @IMKristenBell just literally saved my parents, my brothers and entire family from #HurricaineIrma - you are an angel. I adore you,” he wrote.
Irma has caused massive devastation in several territories, and is still a threat as it begins to weaken today.
