Star Wars Last Jedi: Benicio Del Toro FINALLY speaks out on joining Episode 8
BENICIO DEL TORO has finally spoken out on his new role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Appearing at D23 where new behind-the-scenes footage was unveiled, the actor - whose character has the mysterious name DJ - was quoted as speaking of his excitement at being a part of Episode 8.
But in terms of specific details - relating to either his character or the storyline - he kept incredibly tight lipped.
According to The List, he said: "I saw the original 1977 one when I was 10, so when you called me up and mentioned the title alone, I was like, 'Let's go.’”
And that, it seems, was it.

John Boyega, who plays Finn, and Gwendoline Christie, who plays Captain Phasma, were a little more forthcoming with details.
Referring to Phasma, Boyega said: “Finn's about to have a fight with a formidable opponent.
“It’s going to be very, very cool.”
Christie described Phasma’s suit as “very empowering”.

But she added: "But it can also get very warm, so I tend to pop a casserole into there."
The Last Jedi is the middle part of the current sequel trilogy, following the runaway success of The Force Awakens in 2015.
The film’s out on December 14.
