It is now less than a year until the Marvel two-part extravaganza is released, with a rumoured 67 characters involved.
Avengers Infinity War is likely to be the biggest and most expensive movie ever made, estimated to cost around £400 million.
While there is much mystery surrounding the movie, the directors – Joe and Anthony Russo – have been teasing fans with some very bizarre set photos that don’t really look like anything.
Now after four months since their last cryptic post, the filmmakers have uploaded the picture of an actual object.

While it’s not clear what the object is, it does look like a futuristic vault of some kind.
With that in mind, the most likely possibility is that it’s part of Thanos, the villain’s, vault where he keeps his Infinity Gauntlet.
The interior was first seen in a mid-credits sequence of 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, where the big blue alien – played by Josh Brolin – retrieves the item used to house the Infinity Stones.
In the comics, Thanos uses the gauntlet to harbour the power of the gems all at once, giving him god-like power.
