Yesterday Vanity Fair released a series of stunning new character shots from The Last Jedi including the late Carrie Fisher’s Princess Leia.
Beautifully taken by Annie Leibovitz, a new batch of photos has arrived today, including a first look at Laura Dern’s Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo and Benecio Del Toro’s mysterious Man in Black.
Dern’s Holdo is captured from behind in a long gown, complementing her shock of pink hair.

While she looks very glamorous as the Resistance officer, in contrast is Del Toro’s rough-looking Man in Black sitting among some rusty machinery.
His character remains something of a mystery, although he’s nicknamed DJ by the filmmakers.
According to Vanity Fair, DJ is a shady character of unclear allegiances.
The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson says there’s a reason for the codename.
