Adam Sandler HITS BACK at movie critics after 'c**p', 'deplorable' reviews
ADAM SANDLER has responded to haters of his movies at the premiere of his latest Netflix comedy Sandy Wexler.
TRAILER: Sandy Wexler comes to Netflix
The 50-year-old comedian has become something of a paradox with financial success and viewing figures, amid his movies being critically panned.
His first two Netflix comedies from the last two years, The Ridiculous 6 and The Do Over, have shocking Rotten Tomatoes scores of 18 and 5%.
Reviews included “brain-dead, hopeless, annoying, pestilential c**p” (MLive) and criticism of the apparently "deplorable view of women” (Christy Lemire).
But having signed another deal with Netflix for four more movies, Sandler was at the premiere of his latest, Sandy Wexler, to defend himself.

Speaking with the Press Association, he said: “I know what they’re going to say to every movie – they’re going to say they don’t like it.
He continued: “We’ll be OK. I believe in my stuff. That’s important to me and my friends and the people I make the movies for.
“I like them, that’s the good news.”
Speaking with Variety on his deal expansion with Netflix, Sandler said: “Love working with Netflix and collaborating with them.

“I love how passionate they are about making movies and getting them out there for the whole world to see.”
He added: “They’ve made me feel like family and I can’t thank them enough for their support.”
Sandy Wexler will be released April 14 on Netflix.
