Wonder Woman news: Sequel NOT confirmed - will Gal Gadot be back?
GAL GADOT’S future as Wonder Woman in the DCEU is not as set in stone as many may think, it seems.
Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman
The actress is currently playing the iconic superhero, with the Wonder Woman movie due out this summer.
She’ll also play a central role in Justice League, which is out at the end of the year.
However, with recent DC efforts - such as Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad - both performing disappointingly with critics and audiences, it seems bosses are keeping their cards close to their chest with future projects.
Asked outright if Wonder Woman will get a sequel, DC Chief Geoff Johns said simply at Wondercon: “I can’t confirm that.”

However, it seems this movie is at least on course to perform well - bucking the studio’s recent misfortunes.
Three scenes were shown to attendees, and seemingly went down a storm.
Gadot was last week quoted as saying why exactly she thinks the character is a real feminist icon.
”She doesn't see the difference any gender difference, it's not even an issue,” she told ComicBook.com.

“She comes from this point where men and woman are equal and it's not a thing to be a man or to be a woman.
“She's fierce, she's proactive, she believes in herself, she believes through everything and that's a true moment for me.”
Wonder Woman is released on June 2.
