PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP has taken credit for the Oscars 2017 Best Picture mistake.

It was the biggest disaster in awards season history, as La La Land was accidentally announced as Best Picture, when Moonlight had really won.
The Oscars, and the various similar film ceremonies over the last few months, have been full of celebrities attacking Trump and his policies.
Now the 45th President has spoken out and blames the Best Picture mix up on Hollywood’s obsession with criticising his administration.
The Commander-in-Chief, revealed his feelings on the mistake during an interview with Breitbart News.

He said: “I think they were focused so hard on politics that they didn’t get the act together at the end.
Trump added: “It was a little sad. It took away from the glamour of the Oscars. It didn’t feel like a very glamorous evening.
“I’ve been to the Oscars. There was something very special missing, and then to end that way was sad.”
Jimmy Kimmel branded Trump 'racist' at the Oscars
Kimmel also branded Trump a racist during a scathing opening monologue that poked fun at the President.
He said: "I want to say thank you to President Trump. I mean remember last year when it seemed like the Oscars were racist."
