Every year there is a film which causes outrage, shock and mass walk-outs at the famous festival.
This year's headline grabber is Kuso by Flying Lotus.
Another filmmaker, Josh Johnson tweeted: "The screening of KUSO I attended today saw roughly 60-70% of the audience walk out. This should tell you if it's your kind of movie."
The arthouse horror features a catalogue of disturbing and gross-out scenes, mainly related to bizarre sexual acts and male and female genitals.

Kuso seems to have gone way beyond that.
The experimental film is composed of four interconnected vignettes about people living in Los Angeles who start to mutate after an earthquale.
The most shocking scenes feature a cockroach with mysterious healing powers living inside a doctor's anus, a man having sex with a boil on a woman's neck and a foetus being torn out of a womb.

One online reviewer wrote: "Some gross-out films are one-note, but Kuso finds new ways to test viewers' fortitude."
Flying Lotus (real name Steven Ellison) defended his film on Twitter and wrote: "Too many films playing it safe these days. Scared to be different. I wanted to do something unique while having too much fun."
He added: "Granny likes it."
Other audience members also had positive things to say. Ben Johnson wrote: "Kuso was a trip. Not sure I understood it all, but what an experience. Props to Flying Lotus and the whole team, you blew my mind."
Henry Salke tweeted that far less people walked out than has been claimed: "This isn't true. I was at the premiere and by the end of the film there were about six empty seats and people were standing."
