GEORGE Clooney’s dog took centre stage on the set of the star’s latest film.

Clooney is currently in LA directing his latest film Suburbicon - a mystery criminal comedy starring Matt Damon that will hit cinemas next year.
But in between takes veteran actor Clooney, 55, turned his attention away from wrangling the film’s stars to pick up his pampered pooch for a walk around the set.

He was joined by his doting wife Amal, 38, who bought five-year-old basset hound Millie for a look behind the scenes of the movie.
The Ocean’s Eleven star looked casual in a pair of loose fitting jeans as he got to grips with the dog - whom he and wife Amal adopted from California’s San Gabriel Valley Humane Society last year.

Millie had been taken in by the home after she was found scrounging for food scraps outside of a local restaurant in San Gabriel.

Clooney has a history of adopting rescue dogs, having previously saved cocker spaniel’s Einstein and Louie from a life in the kennels.
Amal looked flawless in a colourful outfit
When he adopted Einstein in 2010, Clooney found a novel way to win over the dog.
He said: “I started to panic that Einstein was not going to like me, so I ran into the kitchen, where I have these turkey meatballs, and I rubbed them all over my shoes.
“Who knew Einstein was such a food wh**e on top of everything? He threw himself at my feet.”
