Spider-Man and Do the Right Thing actor Bill Nunn dies
BILL NUNN, best known for Do the Right Thing and the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy, has died at 62.
Bill Nunn has died aged 62
The news was announced to the Associated Press by the actor’s wife Donna.
She confirmed her husband had died of leukaemia at his home in Pittsburg.
Do The Right Thing director Spike Lee paid tribute Nunn on his Instagram.

The filmmaker wrote: “My Dear Friend, My Dear Morehouse Brother- Da Great Actor Bill Nunn As Most Of You Know Him As Radio Raheem Passed Away This Morning In His Hometown Of Pittsburgh.
“Long Live Bill NUNN. RADIO RAHEEM Is Now RESTING IN POWER.
“RADIO RAHEEM WILL ALWAYS BE FIGHTING DA POWERS DAT BE. MAY GOD WATCH OVER BILL NUNN.”
Lee also shared part of Nunn’s iconic speech from Do the Right Thing.
Radio Raheem spends much of the film walking around the Brooklyn neighbourhood with his boombox.
The 1989 cult classic received Academy Award nominations for Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor for Danny Aiello’s portrayal of Sal.
Nunn also had parts in films like Sister Act and Lockdown, but will be most remembered by Marvel fans for his Spider-Man role.

Nunn played Joseph 'Robbie' Robertson in the Spider-Man trilogy
The actor played comic book character Joseph ‘Robbie’ Robertson in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy with Tobey Maguire.
Robertson works at The Daily Bugle with J. Jonah Jameson, where Peter Parker is a photographer.
The character was one of the first African-American characters in comics who wasn’t just there for comic relief.
