“Our core business is of course, making money,” says Grammar, as he kicks of the trailer as British banker Sir Charles Bunbury.
With no banking qualifications, and US and Japanese investment banks encircling Bunbury’s Tuftons bank, the bumbling chairman has to fend off the onslaught and save the bank.
But when Horne’s Nick tips him off to buy shares in gas, Bunbury buys 200 million shares, only for a gas explosion the size of two nuclear blasts to make them absolutely worthless.
“Congratulations Charles, you’ve broken the bank,” Nick says cynically.

Greig, who plays Charles’ wife Penelope, has had enough and leaves him penniless.
Homeless and without hope, Charles realises there’s only one way to win her back from her new banker boyfriend, played by John Michael Higgins.
“To get mum back, you’ve got to get the bank back,” is the advice of his daughter Annabel, portrayed by the beautiful Sonya Cassidy.
Sir Charles ends up homeless and flat broke, but can he win his wife and fortune back?
Fawlty Towers’ Andrew Sachs also appears as an elderly chauffeur, no doubt to add even more comic moments.
Breaking the Bank is released in UK cinema on June 3 and on DVD June 20.
