TRAILER: Downton Abbey's Lily James goes to the ball in Cinderella
GAME OF THRONES hunk Richard Madden plays the prince to Downton's Lily James in the new Disney epic Cinderella
Darlings, I only take jobs that require flouncy dresses - it's in my contract
Disney has released the first full trailer for the live action reinvention of Cinderella.
It's a fairy tale ending for young actress Lily James, who has been busy recently captivating audiences as flighty, sweet Lady Rose on Downton Abbey.
The 25-year-old takes the lead role opposite Game of Thrones star Richard Madden. Madden famously played the eldest Stark boy Rob on the blockbuster HBO fantasy series until his very unfortunate wedding.
Something tells us that this film has a far happier ending.

There's another Downton star lurking in the background of the trailer - but this time she has made it above stairs.
The Crawley's kitchen maid Daisy (Sophie McShera) pops up having a whale of a time as Drisela, one of the Ugly Sisters, with Holliday Grainger as her counterpart Anastasia.
We love Cate but we're most chuffed to see Downton's Daisy (Sophie McShera, right) in a posh frock
We also get a good look at Cate Blanchett being suitably mean as the stepmother. Just don't call her that, wicked or otherwise.
"Oh, you needn't call me that - Madame will do," is delivered with withering panache.
I really hope this wedding ends better than the last one... Richard Madden as the handsome prince
Meanwhile, Helena Bonham Carter seems to be delivering a rather OTT and dishevelled turn as the (remarkably busty) fairy godmother.
Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother
While Angelina Jolie's recent Maleficent happily deconstructed the classic Sleeping Beauty fairytale as a feminist justification for the actions of the previously 'wicked' witch, Cinderella seems content to glossily recreate the traditional version of the glass slipper tale.
Cynics be warned, there appears to be no rocking of the boat (or pumpkin carriage here).
As a small child Cinderella is told by her dearly beloved (and departed) mother to 'have courage and be kind."
It all reaches a crescendo in the trailer as Cinderella trills,
"Where there is kindness there is goodness - and where there is goodness there is magic."
Little girls everywhere are going to love it.
Cinderella is out in UK cinemas on March 27
