The Book of Life Official Trailer #2 (2014) - Zoe Saldana Animated Movie HD
Revolving around Mexico’s Day Of The Dead - a national holiday to venerate the deceased - it sees the two rival rulers of the underworld, from the Land Of The Remembered and the Land Of The Dead, lay a wager over the outcome of an earthly love triangle.
Who will will the hand of feisty Maria (Zoe Saldana)? Dreamy Mexican musician Manolo (Diego Luna) or puffed-up soldier Joaquin (Channing Tatum)?
The result is an over-busy but good-hearted romp bursting with local colour. The vibrant, detailed animation and wooden puppet-esque character design is terrific and there are some comical takes on well known songs.
