Who will be the next James Bond? An announcement could be imminent or it could be over a year away.
In the meantime, fans continue to speculate with Aaron Taylor Johnson currently in the lead on odds of 6/4.
However, he’s got competition as outgoing Superman star Henry Cavill has seen his chances of becoming the new 007 more than double from 14.3 per cent to 33.3 per cent.
According to OnlineCasino.ca, the 40-year-old’s odds have been cut from 6-1 to 2-1.
The reason being? Apparently recent comments to our very own Express.co.uk by Bond director Martin Campbell about Cavill’s Casino Royale audition.

Back in 2005, Daniel Craig beat Cavill to the role of Bond when the future Superman star was just in his early 20s.
Campbell told us that he gave a “tremendous” audition and that if Craig didn’t exist Cavill would have made a great Bond.
Meanwhile, there are a whole host of other contenders in the running at the bookies.

Take it all with a pinch of salt, but behind Taylor-Johnson and Cavill are James Norton on 5/1, Paapa Essiedu on 6/1 and Regé-Jean Page on 8/1.
Next up are Tom Hardy and Richard Madden on 9/1 followed by Jack Lowden on 14/1 and both Idris Elba and Aidan Turner on 16/1.
Whoever is cast as the next Bond is going to break the internet. But the question is, will they be a household name or a rising star?
