All About Steve review and trailer
SANDRA Bullock is the 2010 dark horse at the Oscars with the real possibility that she could be a best actress contender for the hit The Blind Side.
That might just be enough to erase the memory of All About Steve, a comedy so irritating and cheerless that you wonder if the cast were blackmailed into appearing.
Bullock plays Mary Horowitz, a lonely crossword puzzle compiler convinced that a blind date with dashing cameraman Steve (Bradley Cooper) has led her to the great love of her life.
Encouraged by reporter Hartman Hughes (Thomas Haden Church), she turns into a deranged stalker pursuing the hapless Steve across the country.
It’s not clever, it’s not believable and it certainly isn’t funny.
VERDICT 1/5
