Yesterday, Quentin Tarantino’s ninth movie was released in the UK and it’s already getting Oscars buzz. However, it looks like 2020 could be his year, with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood being the most likely movie to win Best Picture at the 92nd Academy Awards. According to Coral, the film is 3-1 to win the gong, while Rick Dalton star Leonardo DiCaprio is 4-1 to accept his second Best Actor Oscar. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’s odds shouldn’t be too surprising, and that’s not just because Quentin Tarantino hasn’t won the big prizes before.
The Academy notoriously cannot resist a movie about their very own Tinsel Town.
La La Land may have lost out to Moonlight, but The Artist did win Best Picture just a few years ago.
The 92nd Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 9, 2020.
