James Bond 25 SET PHOTO reveals a FIRST for the 007 franchise?
JAMES BOND 25 set photo from Daniel Craig’s Norway set appears to reveal a first for the 007 franchise.
Immersive James Bond experience '007 ELEMENTS' set to open soon
The first James Bond movie in four years has begun shooting in snowy Norway. And the first Bond 25 set photo may reveal a first for the franchise. Sadly the picture doesn’t show Daniel Craig in action but depicts a busy crew in the cold with an IMAX camera. Spotted Trailer Track’s Anton Volkov, the film expert reckons this means Bond 25 will be the first 007 movie to use 65mm film as a whole.
He tweeted: “Some context - I believe this is the first Bond film to use 65mm altogether (IMAX or 5-perf), and the second to use ‘IMAX DNA' (Skyfall was presented 1.90 open matte in IMAX screens).
“Anyway YES YES YES. We're looking at 3 films shot on full 'true' IMAX 70mm in the first half of 2020 - BOND 25, WONDER WOMAN 1984 *and* Christopher Nolan's latest...
“Also seems to be refuting the earlier reporting on shooting digital for Bond, maybe the non IMAX stuff is digital?
“But so so happy we're getting more films shot on 15/70, here's hoping MGM Universal pony up for prints this time unlike a certain space film.”
An electric generator company, which is tied to the film's production, posted a picture showing the crew in Norway using an IMAX camera... Meaning that #Bond25 is being partially shot on IMAX 70mm film! H/T @antovolk

Sounds like seeing Bond 25 in IMAX will be worth watching come April 2020. Filming on Bond 25 is believed to have begun on Monday in Norway’s Nittedal municipality.
While the Daily Mail reported that Craig himself flew to a “secret location” to begin filming.
Allegedly, the Bond 25 shoot has seen protests from environmentalists of the filming of “massive explosions” in Norway’s forests.
According to The Sun, Daniel Craig’s final 007 movie is set to erect buildings for the purpose of being blown up in massive explosions.
The outlet alleges that the shoot is taking place in Southern Norway’s Trehorningen forests and that ski groups say they have had to divert their routes.
The plans have seen protests for environmentalists, which could lead to delays in shooting Bond 25 costing thousands of pounds.
Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas on April 3, 2020.
