Frozen 2 trailer: How Elsa and Anna are in for a darker sequel- secret plot clues REVEALED
FROZEN FANS have been waiting, and now their patience has been rewarded as Disney has released a trailer for the sequel Frozen 2. Here’s how Elsa and Ana are in for a darker time in the sequel.
Frozen 2: Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel return in sequel's trailer
The trailer shows autumn has fallen in Arendelle, with beautiful orange leafed trees.
However, the tone of the whole one minute and 58-second trailer is very much darker than the Frozen we remember.
Ominous music
Throughout the trailer, an ominous soundtrack signals all is not well in Arendelle.
At the start of the trailer, all that can be heard is the crashing ocean and lightning in the distance.
As we see Elsa, the music begins and with the strings, drumbeats and orchestra, Frozen 2 feels more of an animated action film than the first.

Elsa and the Sea
Elsa can be seen at the beginning of the trailer, psyching herself up to run into the sea - using her ice powers to run across the waves.
She struggles and can be seen trying again before her ice breaks apart and she tumbles into the ocean below.
Could Elsa be preparing for something? Strengthening her powers and challenging herself against the unpredictable sea?
The Mysterious Diamonds
Next, we see Ana, rushing onto a balcony and gasping as she spots diamond objects suspended and twinkling in the air.
Elsa has created stunning objects using her powers before but these hanging diamonds with varying patterns may be a sign of something more sinister affecting the kingdom of Arendelle.
Kristoff and Sven reindeer stampede
Kristoff appears on screen, looking determined and riding Sven the reindeer through, followed by a whole herd of reindeer through the autumn forest.
This charge seems as though they’re heading to battle, or rushing to the rescue.
Ana with Kristoff’s sword
At the end of the trailer, Ana, Kristoff and Elsa are seen walking away from the camera.
Suddenly, Ana turns around and takes Kristoff’s sword and slices at something we can’t see.
Until Disney releases a second trailer, a lot of these theories and questions remain a mystery.
Frozen fans have to wait until November to see Frozen 2.
