Avengers Endgame: Robert Downey Jr TROLLS Chris Evans for THIS Captain America similarity
AVENGERS ENDGAME star Robert Downey Jr has teased Captain America actor Chris Evans for being too much like his character in relation to modern technology.
Avengers: Endgame trailer drops for saga's EPIC finale
Poor old Captain America. Having been frozen since the Second World War, it’s not surprising he’s struggling with getting up to date on modern technology. Throughout the MCU movies, he’s occasionally expressed the Grandpa within him seeing as he’s really 100-years-old. But when Chris Evans has a Steve Rogersism in real-life, of course, his Avengers Endgame co-star Downey Jr is going to make fun of him just like Iron Man would.
Evans tweeted: “Dear All Technology, Remember the 90’s when you just WORKED???
“I don’t need a ‘smart’ feature on my TV, thermostat, lights, music, refrigerator, security cameras, and f-ing car.
“You’re a major pain in all of our asses. You’re not worth it. Signed, Everyone.”
Downey Jr replied: “Hey @MarkRuffalo looks like Cap needs a little tutoring from the science bros.”

Marvel fans will know Ruffalo plays Bruce Banner aka The Hulk, and Science Bros is an internet meme of his character’s relationship with fellow scientist Tony Stark.
The Tony Stark star tweeted: “We all know who the real sheriff in town is @ChrisEvans.”
Downey Jr accompanied his tweet with a picture of Woody and Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story franchise.
Except they were mocked up with Buzz as Iron Man and Woody as Captain America.
A caption on the artwork reads: “To Infinity War and Beyond.”
Both actors’ contracts come to an end with Avengers Endgame, so who knows what Iron Man and Captain America’s fates will be.
Avengers Endgame will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
