Avengers: Is THIS why Vision could lift Thor’s hammer in Age of Ultron?
AVENGERS Age of Ultron saw Vision lift Thor’s hammer, because he’s technically not alive, alleges a popular new fan theory.

Only those who are worthy can lift Mjolnir, Thor’s hammer.
Of course Captain America made it wobble a little in Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron, but there was someone else who managed to as well.
Once Vision was born he managed to lift the Asgardian weapon, much to Thor’s annoyance.
And now a popular new fan theory has alleged why.
Reddit user Work_Confusion writes: “In Age of Ultron, Vision could lift Thor’s hammer.
“This may not be because he is worthy, but because he is technically not alive.
“Inanimate objects, like an elevator, can lift/move the hammer. So, it would make sense that robots can too.
“Using the same logic, Ultron should also be able to lift the hammer.”
Lucky for the Avengers Ultron is now dead, but let’s not forget that Mjolnir was destroyed by Hela in Thor Ragnarok.
In Avengers Infinity War Thor has Eitri forge Stormbreaker, an axe hammer hybrid, on Nidavellir.
The dwarf claimed the weapon is the strongest ever made in Asgardian history.
Fans will remember Groot lifted the weapon to give his arm as a handle for Thor.
However it wasn’t a case of Groot being worthy since the Russo Brothers have confirm that was only required for Mjolnir.
Nevertheless with rumoured time travel aplenty in Avengers 4, perhaps Thor’s hammer will be making a comeback.
But just who will be able to lift Mjolnir aside from Thor? Captain Marvel?
Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
