Avengers 4: Dave Bautista ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 delay may affect characters’ FATE
AVENGERS INFINITY WAR star Dave Bautista has revealed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3’s delay may affected characters’ fates in the Avengers 4 plot.
Dave Bautista: I would love to return as Hinx in Bond 25
The last time we saw Drax the Destroyer, he was turning to ash alongside every other Guardian, except for Rocket and Nebula, at the end of Marvel's Avengers Infinity War.
And now with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3’s delayed following director James Gunn’s firing, Dave wonders if this will affect the Guardians’ fates in Avengers 4.
Speaking with Digital Spy, he said: “It's kind of a strange situation to be in now where we've lost our director for Guardians.
“Guardians 3 is really up in the air and I don't know what they're going to do with it.”
Dave continued: “It's on permanent hold for now, and that may make a difference in what they do with our characters in Avengers 4.
“To be honest with you, right now I really don't know.
“But I know I'm in Avengers 4. I've shot most of it already. I do have two days of reshoots.
“But other than that, I have some really great scenes that I hope they use.”
He added: “But I guess that it remains to be seen what they'll do with the characters.”
Speaking with Express.co.uk at the same press junket for Final Score, Dave also revealed his hopes of reprising his James Bond villain Mr Hinx in Bond 25.
He said: “We had hopes, and…they had mentioned it.
“But yeah still have kinda hopes…I hear it’s been pushed, so maybe there’s a…chance.”
When asked if he specifically meant Bond 25, Bautista clarified: “Yeah I want to be in Bond 25. I’ve been very open and political about it. Like I’ve pursued this role.
“I would love to revive Hinx in Bond 25. I wanna be a part of it because it’s a historical film.
“There’s a huge part of me that wants the bragging rights of being that henchman who came back twice, because there hasn’t been many.
“And I wanna be that guy, I wanna be historical, y’know.”
