BBC hire former Labour minister James Purnell
SO the BBC has appointed James Purnell, an ex-minister from the Brown government, as head of strategy.
It seems that the once mighty corporation which you and I pay for no longer even pretends to be politically neutral.
Indeed the BBC appears to be deliberately cocking a snook at government.
Well the same government has it in its power to abolish the licence fee.
