The EastEnders star, who has played Lauren Branning for eight years, has also admitted that she couldn’t control her emotions during her final days filming for the soap.
The actress was confirmed as one of four stars revealed to be leaving the show by EastEnders bosses last year, alongside Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald), Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid) and Johnny Carter (Ted Reilly).
Jacqueline revealed that she had immediately called her husband Dan Osborne, with whom she shares two-year-old daughter Ella, after finding out the news.
The 25-year-old is thought to be making her departure from EastEnders next month, after filming her final scene with her on-screen dad Max Branning (played by Jake Wood).

I phoned Daniel up crying because it was a bit of a shock.
In an interview with this week's OK! magazine, Jacqueline said: “I phoned Daniel up crying because it was a bit of a shock.
“Now I’ve had some time to think about it, I think EastEnders have done me a favour as it’s going to push me to try new things.”
She added: “I had my suspicions that something might be going on because of the way my storylines were going, so I asked for a meeting to discuss what was happening.
“When they told me the plans I was really scared. Getting a job on a soap is a very comforting thing for an actress because it’s regular work, so when I realised that was being taken away, it did worry me.”
