Coronation Street's Bruno Langley inundated with love from cast after assault conviction
EX-CORONATION STREET star Bruno Langley was met with a wave of gushing messages from his colleagues as he welcomed the new year after pleading guilty to two counts of sexual assault.

In November, the shamed actor, 34, was sentenced to a year of community service after admitting to groping two women at a club in Manchester.
His character on the ITV soap, Todd Grimshaw, has since been written out of the show.
At the end of last month, he took to Twitter to wish his 44,000 followers “all the very best for the very impending 2018”.
His tweet was soon met with an outpouring of love from several of his former Coronation Street co-stars, including Liz MacDonald actress Beverly Callard, who said: “Happy New Year to you, darling! So much love!!!!”

When a Twitter user asked if she was still friends with Bruno, Beverly replied: “Without doubt!!!! Much love.”
Former Corrie writer Daran Little also replied: “Same to you my lovely friend. Here’s to a fantastic new year, hope 2018 is amazing for you.”

Meanwhile, several other stars also wished Bruno the best, with Hollyoaks actor Ayden Callaghan saying: “Happy New Year pal. X”
Bruno’s tweet broke his social media silence, which he had maintained since September, throughout the accusations and sentencing.
Many of his fans also took to Twitter to wish him a happy New Year and share words of support, with one writing: “Hope 2018 is a better year for you Bruno and you can move forward, really miss you on Corrie.”
