The television personality made the shock comment after a cheeky fan told the pair to get “down and dirty” during the rumba tonight.
The 58-year-old has previously spoken out about their flirtatious behaviour which sparked romance rumours early on in the competition, denying there was anything going on.
One user told Debbie and Giovanni, 27, on Twitter today: “Good luck tonight, don’t forget get down and dirty oh sorry I mean earthy.”(sic)
Ahead of their performance to Baby Can I Hold You by Tracy Chapman, Paul Daniel’ widow agreed: “I'll try and be muddy!”

Debbie also kept her 26,000 followers updated ahead of the BBC show, stating: “Saturday is here and there is already a buzz in the @bbcstrictly @SCD_UK make up room. Susan [Calman] one side Gemma [Atkinson] the other. Girl power.”
She then teased: “Just loving mine and @pernicegiovann1 costumes for @bbcstrictly tonight. Wait and see. Not long now.”
Debbie went on to add: “Sending big hugs to all my fellow contestants tonight. You are all amazing. To the pro dancers thanks for putting up with us. Um of course @bbcstrictly pro dancers we put up with you too.”(sic)

The radio DJ, who lost her spouse in March last year, also took some time to thank fans for their support following the airing of Paul Daniels: My Life in Magic.
“I’m overwhelmed with all the fabulous messages about Paul's tribute prog on Channel 5 last night. THANK YOU,”(sic) Debbie wrote.
