Deadpool 2 death: Ryan Reynolds pays tribute to stunt driver SJ as first picture released
RYAN REYNOLDS has said he is “heartbroken” following the death of stunt driver Joi ’SJ’ Harris on the set of Deadpool 2.

The Hollywood star took to Twitter to pay tribute to the stuntwoman after a fatal motorcycle accident in Vancouver yesterday.
It comes after the first photo of SJ, who witnesses said “lost control” of her bike, was released.
The 40-year-old actor told his 6.83 million followers: “Today, we tragically lost a member of our crew while filming Deadpool.”
Ryan continued: “We’re heartbroken, shocked and devastated… but recognise nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment.

Ryan, who plays lead Wade Wilson in the blockbuster, spoke out after 20th Century Fox said in a statement: “We are deeply saddened by the accident that occurred on the set of Deadpool 2 this morning.
"Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of our crew member during this difficult time."

Meanwhile, a source told Global News about the accident: “People were running on the sidewalk, the motorcycle comes flying across the street, looks like from a ramp because it was in the air.
“[The rider was] standing on the bike, slams into that building, clearly hit and out-of-control and clearly not planned. It was so out-of-control, it looked like an accident."
The picture of road racer SJ sees her posing with her bike in leather overalls before reportedly landing the role of Zazie Beetz’s stunt double.
