DAME JOAN COLLINS has spoken out against the BBC after it revealed its highest earners in a shock report yesterday.

The actress took to Twitter to condemn the broadcaster for the male dominated list of stars earning over £150,000.
The 84-year-old went on to suggest very little had changed since her days as Alexis Carrington in Dynasty, which first aired back in 1981.
Addressing her 162,000 followers in light of the announcement, Dame Joan blasted: “Oh dear, only couple of actresses on BBC Rich list.”(sic)
The Brit continued: “Reminds me when John Forsythe contractually had to receive much more than me on Dynasty!”

It has been reported in the past that her late co-star, who portrayed patriarch Blake, earned almost £500,000 more than her per series.
Dame Joan previously stated: “In the last year, Dynasty’s producers finally gave me salary parity with John Forsythe.
“Although his contract stipulated that he had to get a few thousand a week more than the next highest-paid actor,” according to the Daily Mirror.

But she added: “But when I reported for work, I was told, ‘Sorry, Joan, we can’t afford to pay you every week, so you’re only going to be in half the episodes.’ To say I was upset was putting it mildly."
Many replied to Dame Joan in shock online, with one user stating: “How dare he, hope you had something to say about that. Dame Joan.”
Another told her: “Which was a shame since you saved the show and Alexis was one of the all-time iconic TV characters.”
